The 10th NBCUniversal Short Film Festival is now open for entries as it seeks the next generation of emerging talent, including writers, directors, producers and actors. Submissions are now being accepted in four categories of narrative short film — comedy, drama, horror and sci-fi. NBCUniversal says submissions are encouraged from talent with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Entries must be between 2 to 20 minutes in length. The deadline to submit is May 1, 2015 at http://www.nbcushortsfest.com.
The NBCUniversal Short Film Festival will culminate with semi-final screenings in New York on August 18-19, followed by a showcase and awards ceremony in Los Angeles on October 21 to honor the standout short films and artists. Talent will have an opportunity to screen their original work directly for film, network and cable executives, as well as managers, agents and other members of the entertainment industry.
